ISAIAH THE PROPHET OF ISRAEL

by ELLA ROSE MAST

When studying the book of Isaiah, and I did say studying----it may help you if you will consider this;---Isaiah chapters 1 thru 39 are mainly in the time of the scattering of the Covenant people, the time when they are moving out of the old land where the kingdom had been set in place but where they could not keep their statutes in the midst of the World Order in place there. It is thus as tho the voice here is from the Tabernacle or the Temple.

Isaiah 2:1 speaks of what he sees in a vision concerning Judah and Jerusalem---- "It shall come to pass that in the last days (the days of Messiah) that the mountain (nation) of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains (nations), and shall be exalted above the hills (the little nations), and all nations shall flow into it."---Verse 3:---"And many people shall say;--Come let us go up to the nation of the LORD, to the House of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us  his ways, and we will walk in his paths, for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.---And He shall judge among the nations and shall rebuke many people, and they shall beat their swords into plow shears, and their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they make  war no more."

Now this was a vision for the future that Isaiah was seeing was it not? It could not happen in old Jerusalem for as we know that would be destroyed, when new Jerusalem takes over in the west.

In chapter 8 , YAHWEH is warning  that his people must not make counsel with these other people in the old land or he will have to take drastic measures. They were to turn only to HIM and everything would work out find, but if they turned away of course chastisement would come.  As you come to verse 12 thru 16 you read of this "stone of stumbling, or a rock of offense" which of course is the Christ---in other words YAHWEH in the flesh as YAHSHUA--savior. At a later date he is to come --and did you notice the word --gin--in verse 14---well this word --gin -- means a trap according to the notes in the Companion bible. And notice he --Christ is this trap  to both the houses of Israel, and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Read the rest of the chapter and then also chapter 9 and what is being discussed here is what is going to happen later as YAHSHUA comes and then later as these covenant people fan out in migration. As you know, with the New covenant He puts the love of Himself in the hearts of his people. He of course by foreknowledge  knew what they would do as soon as the children of darkness came against them once more, even when they had finished their migrations and would move no more.

Chapter 9:1---This tells of the great light which would come to these Covenant people, and we remember that in time the Bible was printed, and then that Bible was first chained to the altar, but later would become the property of the common people, and they realized that it was the spirit in them which was leading them onward. As they came to  America they knew who they were and they brought their bibles with them. Thus America's colonization came about with God's law as their guide and they knew that Isaiah 9:6 pertained to them.

As time wore on America would grow to her rightful place in the spotlight even with the parasites on her back.  Then things would begin to change, yes, slowly at first, so that many would not notice. Communism would be coming out in the open, and we did not like it, but  behind the scene powerful forces would be feeding Socialism into the bad politic of America, so a to bring you to the point where you would accept a One World Government ruled by Lucifer and his children of Darkness, who had never accepted The Christ, and who never will at least in this dispensation.

Socialism would be tried in France and it was believed that it would also work in America.  The program would be to start making the Covenant people blame themselves for the condition of the third world people.  Surely this was not Christian, for America to have so many blessings and these other people in such straits. God would surely  want you to share your blessings with the world?  But to make this idea stick they would have to in some way get these people to forget what their bible really said, for remember it said that they were not to give HIS blessings to another.  And gradually the Bible became once more a chained book. Men now decide what it should  say instead of what was printed inside. Christianity was gradually being changed, in the churches until you do not stand for your savior, instead try to get along, and in the process retreat step by step. Take prayer out of schools, turn most every program  following the path laid out by our forefathers, under the guidance on high, turn it into Socialism as we marched toward a welfare state which is necessary for a One World Government  run by the World Order.

Blindness thus increases as our people follow this liberal path and if anyone suggests that the Bible says other wise then label them as " Hate mongers---or Nazi--or White supremacists, " and  that propaganda arm of the One World Leaders  was a great weapon used in their cause. This is what Socialism did for France, and it tore that country apart, and it is what is happening to America. Their next step was to take from those who work and give to those who do not work and make you feel guilty if you are not happy to do this. One step at a time then your freedom has been taken until before long it will be gone, and you are supposed to be just a cog in a World Order government by those who know not Jesus the Christ. Thus you were warned such would happen in the latter days, and we have been seeing it today.

Isa. 32:3-4 is also speaking of the future :---"And the eyes of those who see will not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall harken. The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly".

In verse 5--the vile person (or the fool) shalala be no more called liberal (Nobel) nor the Churl (miser or covetous) said to be bountiful. "

Isaiah chapters 34 and 35 are continuous prophecy there is no break in these two chapters, and they end with --"The ransomed of the LORD coming to Zion (the kingdom) rejoicing.

Thus the first part of the book of Isaiah is looking forward with prophecy and was happening to his migrating household.  Chapters 40 thru 66 you will find is thus the gathering  of His People, and the voice is a tho from the wilderness, to a people on the move:---"Comfort ye, Comfort ye My People"---saith your God.  This purpose of the migrations was this gathering into the nations of his kingdom,  into their designated places for the establishing of the administration of the kingdom.  You will notice Zion's reconciliation, Restoration, and enlargement, for Zion is not forgotten no matter what happens. In other words the Messiah sealed the breach between him and his people. In fact you cannot read the end of any of the writings of the prophets without feeling uplifted by the  promises, altho Israel seems to be blind, and dumb and gets into all kinds of trouble, yet always she has the victory, not because she does what she should but because she is Israel, his peculiar (purchased ) people and He is your God.

Then we come to chapter 60 and we read:---"Arise and shine for thy light has come". And verse 2--"For behold --this is calling attention to the conditions of the nations just before Israel's future Glory shines forth." --"The Darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people."---"But the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His Glory shall be seen upon thee'---Vs; 3 --" And the nations shall come to thy light, and kings (rulers) to the  brightness of thy rising." This chapter is speaking about Zion's (God's household) in reconciliation, restoration and enlargement, about Israel's Ascendancy --about their ministry, and  then the nations of Israel in their rising. And those that have afflicted you shall come to bow down at your feet. This of course is still future.

In verses 17-22 Israel's glory shines forth, and evil is finally removed.  In chapters 61-66 the Messiah   sends joy and blessings, and prayers are offered and answers are given. Israel 's waste places are rebuilt. and  in chapter 63 we read of the judgments by the Messiah in person on Edom, and at last the New heavens and the new earth. and thus saith the LORD---for the "Place of his rest" --being a figure of speech means satisfaction.

Now the old Temple was for sacrifice and atonement, not for dwelling--but in verse 13--"Ye shall be comforted in New Jerusalem "---this is not in the church. Verse 14---and when you see this your heart will rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb, and the hand of the LORD will be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.  Verse 22:---"For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make shall remain before me saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain."---for "All flesh shall come to worship before me: saith YAHSHUA IN VERSE 23.

The New heavens and the New earth of Isa. 65:17---The Companion bible asks you to notice the difference between this new heavens and new earth, and the New heavens and new earth of Revelation 21 ---which is that story of the New Jerusalem (the Adamic household sent into earth to build his kingdom, and ends by saying that God will no dwell with his people and wipe away all tears from their eyes etc.  And the former things shall be remembered no more, or even come to mind.  "Be ye glad ,and rejoice for ever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my  people; and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. -----This is not the restoration of Jerusalem in the time of Ezra and Nehemiah, or the church of God either, for verse 20: ---says:---There shall b no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.---So what are you talking about here but no early death, or premature decay,  in other words --is this not the Millennium?  The word accursed here meaning "Cut off"--and will not be there to hinder you any more.

Going on with this we read:---And then his elect, his chosen they shall build homes, and inhabit them and they no longer will plant and someone else eat their production.  The Elect (his household) shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth, for trouble for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

Verse 24:---And it shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer, and while they are yet speaking --"I will hear". Verse 25:--The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall  eat like the bullock (from your hand), and dust shall be the Serpents meat (food) and they(the enemy) shall not destroy in all "My holy mountain , saith the LORD".

You saw a reference to this time in Isa. 11: 6-9 which was also speaking of the Millennium---for it was not Eternal. This dust which is the serpent's food is a word used as a powerful figure of speech for He is finished. This old serpent  who in symbolism in Revelation 20:2--is the Dragon, the devil, or Satan is bound then for 1000 years.  This licking the dust is just a symbol of humiliation, of defeat. Thus the Archangel who rebelled so long ago and brought all this misery to earth no longer will be allowed to spread his rebellion in earth. This period of history is finally finished, and without his influence people will turn, and be able to see what YAHWEH HAS PLANNED FOR THE EARTH,  AND WHAT WAS ACCOMPLISHED AS HE CAME TO REDEEM HIS PEOPLE AS SAVIOR, AND THRU THEM TO SET THE WORLD IN ORDER.

Remember that the Apostle Paul said that the whole world was  waiting for the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God.  Isaiah 66:1 says:--"the earth is my footstool, where is the house ye built for me (speaking of New Jerusalem?) where is the place of my rest?---the word rest meaning satisfaction.

Then Israel is described as the Woman, who brought forth the man child, and what then happened to her, but in New Jerusalem she will be comforted.  We think this means that as you see this you will be comforted, and the hand of the LORD  will then be known toward his enemies, and also toward his servants (his household) This time he comes with fire which is Shekinah light, and his chariots like a whirlwind as he shows his anger, and this other "TREE" shall  be no more, but the new heavens and the new earth  without this 'Tree of good and evil' will allow his household to shine forth before him, and "Your name--Israel ) and the seed (your children) shall also remain and then you shall see the results of Verse 23 in chapter 65 as "all flesh comes to worship only  Him---and this for sure will be the new earth and the new heaven which we long for.
