VOLUME 8------ BOOK 57

                                   Joanna Southcott

THE FIRST BOOK OF WONDERS---marvelous and true.

These what Joanna calls wonders began for her from the account of the sudden death of Reverend M. Pomeroy, Vicar of Bodmin, which was stated in The London Papers. Mr. Pomeroy was a minister that was to bring Joanna to trial. He had worked faithfully in this manner for some time even tho there was trouble between the two from the first, Joanna then goes back over her relations with Mr. Pomeroy, and how Mr. Pomeroy had quarreled with other ministers as to what Joanna had written.  But finally he had come forth and did as he was supposed to and supported her.

The Spirit of truth then says that it was the duty of every minister to act as Mr. Pomeroy did, for if Joanna had been visited by the devil he would have had it in his power to have stopped her hand in the beginning.  This was the duty and the way that every minister should have acted for they had been warned that false prophets would go out into the world.  For how could 'the spirit of truth' come without prophecies being given.  How could they tell if they did not trouble themselves to search out the truth and to try the spirits?  Without this how is HIS Gospel obeyed by them? HIS command was for faithful shepherds and teachers of the flesh to search out the truth when it is put in their power to do so.

Men have judged that the time is at hand for the revelation that tho hast seen that which was to come before the end. This being that a great wonder is to appear before the end cometh of Salvation and the strength of the kingdom of God, and the power of HIS Christ. For being brought forward was the scripture which says that the promise made to the woman at the first must be claimed by the woman at the last.

Joanna is chided for feeling sorry that Mr. Pomeroy, who at first rejected her will not be able to take his place at her trial. She is reminded that the LORD knows the hearts of men, and HE knows what he requires of them, and also what they will do. And HE prepares for different actions.

Notice from the Gospel that God had the power to withstand, power to contend, and to overcome. The promise was first fulfilled of (Adam) man being created in the image of God and His likeness. Not by Adam's transgression who was overcome by the subtlety of the Serpent, but by the obedience of the Christ, to overcome the Serpent in the end. This stands without conditions, that "MY becoming flesh to dwell among men. Should be good tidings to all in the end?" Let men then look to the Gospel what is said, and of the sign that they will discern it, but not to be fulfilled when I came in the flesh to dwell with men.

Look to the words of the old Priest Simeon: ----'And Simeon blessed HIM (Jesus), and said unto Mary his mother: ---Behold this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel and for a sign that shall be spoken against.  Let men then discern that my being born to dwell among them was a sign that I should be rejected by some. But that it should also be for the good tidings to all in the end. If men cannot discern how this is to happen in their day, or what is to happen in the end then they cannot discern the scripture.

Thus there is more of the scriptures to be fulfilled and Joanna’s is pointing this out with her work. For she is saying turn to the Revelation chapter 12, and then on to Revelation 19-22, for these things to stand out now as still to be fulfilled, so let men discern the scriptures and watch for fulfillment. How then could men quote the scriptures and then consider that the writings of Joanna not be true?

   BOOK 58 ----Volume 8-------Joanna Southcott

THE SECOND BOOK OF WONDERS.

"The dawn of each returning day,

     Fresh beams of knowledge brings,

And from the dark returns of night

    Divine instructions spring.

Joanna says that since the powerful visitation of the LORD came to her in 1792.  she has had fresh things revealed to her every day. She awakens every morning between three and four o'clock and sits up in her bed till the day breaks. And she has had communications given unto her as soon as she is awake. When day breaks she goes into the dinning room by herself, and she feels like she is surrounded by Angels. She has no appetite, has no want of food.

As soon as she finished her last book, new things were revealed to her. She was then directed to have seven respectable friends to meet together at 4:00 on Thursday afternoon to hear what new things had been revealed unto her. after that first meeting they were told to meet again on the following Monday. This she was told was a trial of her faith. But since she had obeyed in her heart that was all that would be required of her, but the LORD works in different ways.

Soon after her last visitation from 'the spirit of truth.'  She was told that she was to have new clothes. She was told that this was for the sake of her female friends. She then ordered twelve new gowns as well as other clothing. Then she was

told that --the time of thy departure draws near, for thy sands are nearly run. (Thru the hourglass?) Joanna rejoiced in this for she was so weary of the world, just as the world was weary of her. All this was then ordered to be sealed and put in the box until her trial. She says her new clothing was symbolic of her wedding garment. Joanna then thinks that she is to have an earthly husband and she is not too happy about that. But she at first did not understand that this was symbolic wedding. For without a marriage union with (Adam) man then scriptures could not be fulfilled.  For if God gave the woman to Adam at first, when paradise was lost by disobedience, then he must bring the woman in perfect obedience to God and to (Adam) man. If Joanna had understood this then she would not have been so wearied with offers of lovers in men. But no man that came forward had the command of the LORD, for this was HIS daughter he was giving in marriage, and He knew how she had labored and written all HE had bade her write. So HE then tells her that HE will not give her hand in marriage to anyone unless they are like Noah. (For Noah was perfect in his generation-----he was perfect in lineage.)

Now; the believers have Joanna's writings but they still do not discern that a temporal marriage must take place before these writings can be fulfilled. Joanna herself does not quite understand what the Gospel has said------That He that hath the bride is the bridegroom.---The friends of the Bridegroom will rejoice, and so will the friends of Joanna when they understand that this marriage symbolically is of the Woman of Revelation 12 (Israel) and her husband the Bridegroom who is the Christ. This is the opening of the way for the coming of the kingdom of Christ on earth. As soon as this is proclaimed then Joanna begins to feel the pressure put on her by the enemy. Then still not quite understanding she thinks maybe this is an earthly marriage and begins to look upon matrimony far worse than death. She finally realized that she would also be in HIS form (which is spirit) when this marriage came about, and of course HE was spirit thus now she begins to understand, that this is a spiritual wedding between the woman of Revelation 12 (Israel) and her maker for he has said that HE is married to Israel.

"For there is ONE GOD, and one mediator between God and men, that is the man Christ Jesus who gave himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time. Adam was first formed and then Eve. And Adam was not deceived but the woman (this symbol of Israel) was deceived, as she was in transgression. Not withstanding she shall be saved in child bearing, if they (Israel) continue in Faith, and charity and holiness and sobriety. Let the learned try to explain this. Then also remember the coming of Mary Magdalene who anointed Christ's head with the precious oil, and Judas cried out that the oil should have been sold and the money given to the power. But Jesus said let her alone for she hath wrought a good work in him. 'Ye have the poor with you always, and who so ever ye will ye may do them good, but ME ye do not have always. What Mary Magdalene had done was spoken of for a memorial, for she had anointed the Christ for his burial.

Now; Joanna had labored for seven years in her writings and she has then begun to understand a bit better, and she feels better about doing her work, but she still does not understand many things that are yet to be revealed to her, but she faithfully records them. She learns that there are many of the children of the kingdom of God at this time shall be cast out for lack of Faith. Where as there are many from the north, the east and the west who will altho strangers to His Gospel, who will come in by Strong Faith. Thus Joanna had been ordered to record this for she was a living witness of the truth of God's fulfilling the promise to the woman. (And at that time there were many Israelites, that altho scattered still had a strong faith in YAHWEH God.)

Now; Joanna writes a letter to Mr. Pomeroy saying she had a message from God for him. If you will not be a just God then be an unjust God that I may be avenger of my adversary. Thus render unto Caesar the things that are Caesars and unto God the things that art of God. She goes on to tell Mr. Pomeroy that he tried to save his honor among men, but that is the way he lost it. For the honor of the world worketh death to the honor of God. And that death soon fell upon men, for you began in spirit and you ended in the flesh. It seems that Mr. Pomeroy had denied to Joanna the taking of Communion at a service he was in charge of. And then after that his consciousness must have bothered him for he invited her to come again. Then he came to Mrs. Taylor and told of how all the ministers were plaguing him so he could not sign that Joanna's writings were not from the devil. Joanna then sent a Mr. Jones who had testified that Joanna's writings were from God, to see Mr. Pomeroy but he did not treat him well, and she criticizes him for that.

Much time was spent and many letters between Mr. Pomeroy and Joanna passed back and forth. Joanna has been writing as the 'spirit of truth' demands that she do. But it is taking a long time to bring Mr. Pomeroy into line. Other ministers now write to Mr. Pomeroy, and one was the Reverend T.P. Foley.  And Mr. Foley had this to say: ---What will be the astonishment and confusion of the Shepherd's of Christ's flock, when they have demonstrative proof, that this is HIS blessed and Glorious work.  Will they not --think ye--- be almost ready to call upon the mountains and the rocks to fall on them, and to hide them from the face of HIM that sitteth upon the throne? And from the wrath of the Lamb? For they will find that the day of His wrath has come. And who will be able to stand?  Mr. Foley closed by saying that he hoped Mr. Pomeroy would have his eyes opened before it was too late.

(This is another book written by Ann Underwood--taken as she says from Joanna Southcott’s mouth. (Thus others were helping with this writing).

WISDOM------JUDGMENT-------MERCY

The weather had been foggy and many accidents occurred but the spirit of truth said that things have been as the weather, but new things are to break out as the sun just did. Tho the year ended as tho in darkness still with the coming of the new year light shall come forth when ---- 'When I come to bring my spirit unto men'. And Mr. Pomeroy shall before the year is out do as he is supposed to do, and recognize the writings of Joanna, for the Spirit wills it.

Book 59----Volume 8----Joanna Southcott.

Letters sent to the Clergy of Exeter.

I, Joanna Southcott have been more than 12 years publicly warning the nations of what the LORD hath revealed unto me, of the events which have been daily fulfilling abroad and at home. Which causes some to believe the visitation to be from the LORD? While others with the most infamous abuse and falsehood, have publicly declared me to be an impostor, and others with the same ignorance and folly say my writings are from the devil, full of blaspheme. And they wonder why the Bishops should have suffered me to go on in this manner. I have borne the mockery and abuse of men; but now let all their wonders cease; for I shall return to mock them as they have mocked me. And shall prove it is the devil, in the form of men, from whence all this malice and persecution proceed.

Here then is what Joanna was ordered to put in the public papers. And if I have no one to come forward to plead my cause for me, the LORD is working a way for me to plead it myself, and shame all that shamed me and confound all that confounded me.

Now; as Rowland Hill called my friends three and 20 mad fools for believing that my visitation was from the LORD; let him bring forward 23 mad fools to prove these two book which I lately published with my other prophecies were ever brought round by the wisdom of a woman, or the wisdom of the devil? They must be mad fools indeed, if they attempt this, for it has been none but mad fools that have written a book against me, as yet by Satan's forming himself in them and that their publications have proved.

Joanna is getting more confidence in her writings and next she sends a warning to the Bishops, by the command of the LORD.  Joanna had sent a letter to Mr. Pomeroy in 1796, but now says that the time is come for the fulfillment of that letter. Awake My shepherds saith the LORD, lest I kindle a fire in mine anger, and a wrath in my fury, that shall burn to the uttermost of hell. But if ye awake, O Zion, and put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, then shall your light break forth as the morning and your righteousness appear as the noon day sun. And God, even our LORD will give us his blessings.

Joanna is now told that the LORD will fulfill these promises she was ordered to send to Mr. Pomeroy in 1796. And will fulfill them according to how the command was obeyed, or disobeyed. The Bishops are now commanded to judge between the Shepherd and the Sheep. Joanna then added: --Reverend Sir: if you wish to know on what foundation I build, to write in this manner, I will conceal nothing from you. I have written as I was commanded. And I trust to your goodness to weight it deeply. For the LORD will require or will be required of by the House of Israel.

This booklet is just letters that Joanna was commanded to write to the Reverend Pomeroy and others. Always she tries to get their attention, and to try to get them to do what the 'spirit of truth' is telling her to have them do, and to think. She understands that they do not wish her to say that the LORD wishes this. These were letters send to ministers to bring them to her trial. She tells them that it was given to them to understand the mysteries to others it was not given. Thus they were to study and discern what the Almighty was saying to those of the House of Israel.

(I do not have the time nor the strength to summarize all of these letters, but anyone who stops by my library is welcome to read for themselves. Mainly what we are now interested in is her belief as to the end of the age.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

  BOOK 61---VOLUME 8----Joanna Southcott.

The third book of numbers---announcing the coming of Shiloh, with a call the Hebrews.

From Isaiah 11:1----

"And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse and a branch shall grow out of his roots."

Revelations:---"I am the root of the offspring of David, the bright and morning star.”

Here it is said to the Jews--how could they expect the branch, without the root, when they were cut off and set at naught?"

Now; Joanna begins her address to the Jews (Judeans) from Jacob's dying words. "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, not a law giver from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and to him the gathering of the people be. Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine. He washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of the grapes. His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk. Joseph is a fruitful bought, even a fruitful bought by a well. Whose branches run over the wall. The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him and hated him. But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the almighty God of Jacob. For whence is the Shepherd, the stone of Israel? Even by the God of the Father, who shall help thee. And by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings from heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under blessings of the beast (world order) and blessings from the womb.  The blessings of the Father hath prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bounds of the everlasting hills. They shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that is separate from his brethren.

Now; earth, earth hear the LORD's controversy with His people. Now bring forth your arguments, and show your strong reasons, how you will prove the prophets without the Gospel, or the Gospel without the prophets.

Now you notice that this is addressed to the Jews, since the bible is written that way but Joseph is then mentioned, and this refers to America in prophecy, and even Jacob was a Hebrew but not a Jew. Thus no wonder that people have been misled over the years in their thinking if they do not know the people of the Book. After all then Joanna points out that this is only man's interpretation of the Gospels. (She is now trying to get people to start with Revelation 12 --and now you will begin to find out who the people of the book really are.)

Now; turn to the psalms: ---

"Thou has ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive, and hath received gifts for men, yea for the rebellious also that the LORD God might dwell among them. (Psalm 68)

Psalm 110: "The Lord said to my Lord sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion-----rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

The bible still carries this as to the Jews as tho Hebrew and Jew are one and the same. Then talks about Joseph who was of the House of Israel, and not the house of Judah. But our understanding today is that both are as the whole House of Israel, and thus they shall be when HE joins two sticks together and they become ONE Stick in his hand.

The words in this book are also penned by Ann Underwood. She saying that she took them from the mouth of Joanna. But she, like Joanna, made no distinction between Jew and Hebrew for that is the way the Bible is written. But the Jews at the time of the Christ were the Edomite Jews from Mount Seir, and the Hebrews of course from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

We are now coming to the word Shiloh. The meaning of this word Shiloh is tranquility, ---at rest. It refers in the ancient version to Christ, until HE returns and the kingdom of God is set in place. Shiloh, the town, was in the territory that belonged to Ephraim. And Ephraim also had a part in the King line, of Israel, which was set in Judah.

John 10: ---"As the father knoweth me, even so I know the father, and I lay down my life for the Sheep. Other Sheep I have which are not of this fold (here in Judea). Them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice and there shall be one fold, and one Shepherd. Therefor doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life for the Sheep. That I might take it up again. Know this that as a Son I came at first; but as a bridegroom I said that I should come at the last. Then know as a king brings in his heirs to the crown, by the bride so shall I bring in my heirs to My kingdom which I died to redeem.'

Thus, HE died first to have his enemies pointed out. And now see that HE must come as the Bridegroom (to remarry Israel). Pilate, remember, entered the Judgment hall and he asked Jesus: “Art thou the king of the Jews?"  Jesus answered him making no such claim. He ask of Pilate did he hear this himself or did someone tell this to him. Pilate then said: "Am I a Jew? --thine own nation and chief priests have delivered thee unto me, so what have you done?”  Jesus answered: ---"My kingdom is not of this world (order). If it were of this world (order) then My servants would fight and My kingdom would not be left with the Jews." Then Pilate asked: --"Art thou a king?" And Jesus answered: "Thou saith right, to this end was I born, and for this cause I came into the world."

Then Look to the Prophets and see what they have to say: ---

Micah:---"Thou Bethlehem Ephratah, thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall HE come forth unto ME, that is to be the ruler in Israel, whose going forth have been from of old. From the everlasting to the everlasting. Therefore she shall give them up until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel. And HE shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, and in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God, and they shall abide for now shall He be great unto the ends of the earth.

The 'Spirit of truth ' says that to prove HIS words true then His second coming is as the Bridegroom, and there must thus be a Bride prepared to fulfill this vision of John in Revelation 12.

"And there appeared in the heavens a great wonder, a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of 12 stars, and she being with child cried travailing in birth and pained to be delivered."

(Notice this woman is with child and crying to be delivered.  But was this meaning Mary who produced the Christ child?  For we remember from the old books that when Joseph hurried for a Midwife, and they hurried back, gone not very long, that when they came and the light then reduced until they could see, there sat Mary and the Babe in her arms. This, remember, was a girl of 14 years. So this woman of Revelation then what was this child, this beginning that she was wanting to call to your attention?)

Later then you would read; ---"Be glad and rejoice the marriage of the Lamb hath come, and His wife hath made herself ready."----To be clothed with the sun means that the sun of righteousness now arises with healing in his wings, to heal the woman of the fall. But how could this be said that the bride is the Lamb's wife without a spiritual visitation, to prove that as the bridegroom I meant to come in spirit, to visit like a bridegroom and to make Myself known?

Now; as I was put to death, it was my body that I laid down, and should take up again. And it was in the body that I was crucified. Thus now we come to the soul which has the same meaning as the spirit. Here is the offering made for sin when I condescend to visit by My Spirit in a manner like a Bridegroom to bring in my heirs to the kingdom. Then must (Adam) man be made joint heirs with ME. For I came first to bear the transgressions of (Adam) man and was cut off by the fury of the devil working in men.  Thus when I come to cast out the adversary that betrayed the woman it is in the spirit that I must make my soul and offering for sin to bring in my heirs into the kingdom. For this reason I said; "The kingdom of heaven is within you." (Thus it is the spirit in you that is a child of the kingdom.  And only those of spirit can be the children of God's kingdom.)

In talking to Nicodemus, then Jesus said: --"Unless a man be born of the spirit and of the water, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.” Thus it is in spirit that the spiritual children must be born again--or changed in their thinking. These things stand on record, but are not understood by many today.

"Thy maker is thy husband; He is Lord of Lord's and this is his name.  And thy redeemer is the Holy one of Israel.  The God of the whole earth, He shall be called. For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit. A wife of youth when thou wast refused---saith thy God."  Then comes the great blessing unto her children for they will be taught of the LORD. And their righteousness of ME, Saith the LORD.  But has that ever been fulfilled?---No not yet.

Then consider: ---"For Zion's sake I will not hold my peace. And for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until righteousness thereof goes forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.  The Gentiles (nations of Israel) shall see thy brightness, thou righteousness, and all kings thy glory.”

Where is the man who can say that these things were all fulfilled when HE came in the flesh?

Thus, now mark these words: "Thou (Israel) shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of Christ shall name (Christian).  Thou shalt be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD. And a royal diadem in the hands of thy God. Thou shalt no more be termed forsaken or thy land desolate.  For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee; and as the Bridegroom rejoices over the Bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

Thus here you are to see in what likeness of marriage this is compared to when this righteousness is established in earth. Compare this with the book of Revelation Chapter 12, and you must see that a new name must be given in the end.  For I come as a Bridegroom to fulfill the words of the prophets. Then I shall set up the watchman, upon the walls of Jerusalem which shall never hold their peace day or night. For they that made mention of the Lord must not keep silent.

Therefore it is written, give Him no rest till He hath established, and made Jerusalem (the new Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Now the LORD hath proclaimed unto the ends of the world, say ye to the daughter of Zion (Israel), behold thy salvation cometh. Behold his reward is with HIM and HIS work is before Him. But this no man can prove ever yet was accomplished. But let them see it is compared to marriage when I return to My people." Then John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven prepared for a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of the heavens saying: --- “Behold the tabernacle (embodiment) of God is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people and God himself shall be with them and be their God."

(Today we believe that this New Jerusalem was the coming to earth thru the years of the Adamic race, this race which possesses the spirit of the Living God.)

Now; for there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots. But how could the branch grow out of the root without the spirit of the Bride? For when this branch appears then let them see, peace and righteousness are to follow. The wolf then shall lay down with the Lamb, and the Leopard shall lay down with the kid. And a little child shall lead them.  They shall not hurt, nor destroy in all my holy mountain. This must be fulfilled before the words of the prophets can take place. This is the meaning thus in the writings of Joanna.

The meaning of the Phrase--"A little child shall lead them."---When the child is born (Adam) man will then see their days of this visitation of the spirit of truth clear. So that the knowledge of the LORD, which has been concealed from (Adam) man so that impostors cannot claim it will be known all over the earth. (Thus the Identify message will finally be exposed and be believed, and take its place in the truth from the LORD.)

The 'Spirit of truth tells Joanna and us that things have been worked out this way so that the impostors would not be so active in persecuting this race of Faith. Thus this knowledge of the Children of His spirit, His kingdom people are recognized as those who grow out of the roots of Jesse. This knowledge of this second child (the child of spirit) must become known, that this Child comes from the Almighty not from man. At the time of the writings of Joanna people still thought that a part of the Jews must still be a part of Israel. And as the Lord sets his hand a second time to gather the remnant of his people from Assyria, and from Egypt (the world). Then He is to set up and Ensign for the nations, and assemble the outcast of Israel and gather together the outcast of Judah, from the four corners of the earth. (But there is no mention of the Jews here is there? This is Judah he is gathering?)

Joanna tells us that people do not understand in what manner He must visit in spirit so as to have people believe that there is what is called 'a second child', but which is a spirit, and what part this child born of the Spirit of God must play at the end of this age.  This spirit in you is an identification mark for this bringing forth the kingdom.

At the coming of Jesus as the Messiah He was of course a child of the spirit, for He was the LORD himself embodied and thus the Jews could not see this, but the Hebrews and Israelites were waiting for His coming. But no man can say that all was fulfilled with the birth of the Babe in Bethlehem.

Now; when the Prince of Peace is come to bring all things to the remembrance of his people, then they will see that it was the Everlasting Father, the Mighty counselor that first showed His love, to die for (Adam) man, to have the government all His own. And then again come to establish His Kingdom in Peace.  Then it will be said that of the increase of His government and Peace there shall be no end. And upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom to establish it, to order it, even forever with judgment and with justice from henceforth and forever. As the zeal of the LORD of Hosts He will perform this.  Joanna then says that as HE comes again then he will appeal to the Jews and if they respond He will gather them. (I think this is for later, but perhaps this is the only way that this controversy can be settled.) For it will identify those who are of the 12 tribes, and those who are not for we contend you do not take a part of one tribe of Israel and make them of another people, such as the Edomite Jews.) This is still the teaching of the people even today and of course it was strong in the days of Joanna. But this was also a protection for the children of the kingdom, as they had a longer time to be exposed to the ranting of the Serpent.

Now; John says in his gospel that,  "Beloved now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear, we shall be. But we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."

Now; what was the meaning for this for the Apostles had seen him, they had known His likeness, and they had seen Him after his resurrection?  Therefore the Apostles were not speaking of the past, but of what was to come.

When the Woman appeareth, clothed with the sun---then comes salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of God and the power of Christ. (Thus when (Adam) man understands this woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet --understands that she is the Israel of the Scriptures that YAHWEH--who is YAHSHUA--says He is married to. She then is the knowledge for the last days, that are coming upon us. And this knowledge was reserved for the last time, and in this (Adam) man and after them all men shall rejoice greatly.

Now; sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praises unto the ends of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the Isles and the inhabitants thereof.

Now;---God will no longer forebear to manifest himself in the mission of the Christ --the son, that has already been revealed to you. But "Behold! My servant Mine Elect in whom My soul delighteth. I have put MY spirit upon HIM and ne shall bring forth judgment unto the Gentiles. (Those nations of Israel). He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the streets. ( In other words the kingdom comes in quietly.) But he (Adam) man shall not fail, not be discouraged, till he has set his judgment in the earth. And the Isles shall wait for HIS law.

Now; look to the Jews, look to all nations, even your own nation and see if they have knowledge enough to clear "MY GOSPEL.” But notice it is also MINE ELECT that I put my spirit upon. And since He will not cry out, or cause his voice to be heard in the streets, when He brings forth judgment unto the Gentiles. How could this mission allude to ME when I dwelt with man? No it is for the end, when I bring into the picture the sons, and daughters, in whom My soul delighteth. Now the eyes of man's understanding will be opened to see the words of the prophets. Then will the gentiles (nations of Israel) have judgment to confound the Jews and point out MY gospel clear to Mankind.

This then is why Joanna says: ----'The woman clothed with the sun should make almost any nation shake. For now the mystery I WILL EXPLAIN.

Turn to the writings of Isaiah: ---"Thou art my servant 0 Israel, thou art my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob. Thou shall be a light to the nations, that thou mayest be MY Salvation unto the ends of the earth.

Thus I will rise up that light to the Gentiles, to see my Gospel with the prophets.-----And it is that by the 'Seed's seed' that the crowns be established one after the other. So that it is discovered that the 'Seed's seed' of righteousness, shall arise with healing in his wings.  We tell you that Christ came the first time to be conquered by the powers of madness of men and devils. But HE comes this time as the Conqueror.  And now the "Seed's seed may seek his favor and He has mercy on them. And on the adversary He will make him to bow the knee, and they will know that He is the Holy one of Israel.

BOOK 62---VOLUME 8--by Joanna Southcott.

In this book Joanna is talking about the Hebrews and the problems that they had in walking in the path their God had ordained. But we know the promise to Jacob who is still the Hebrew. Now it has been taught here at the end of the age, that some of the Jews were converted and became Christians, but here now it is time for the 'seed' to be known. For those are the ones who proceed from Faith. For He will destroy the enemy that sowed the 'tares' among the wheat.

Joanna then says that now let the Jews answer: --who is the Holy One of Israel spoken of all thru the Bible, and in the Psalms and prophets and to the Hebrews? There is only One God and His name is ONE. But there is also this Jesus Christ whom they must now look unto for salvation, from the ends of the earth, and will they thus come and be saved? For the laws of Moses condemn them all. And as a swift witness He will come against them. And they cannot answer one word of a thousand to justify themselves in keeping his commandments. So if He try them by the laws of Moses, then are they cast off and condemned, from the Gospel.

Now the Gospel----"The scepter shall not depart from Judah. Nor a law giver from between his feet until Shiloh come, an unto Him shall the gathering of the people be."

Notice that the scepter did not depart from Judah. And their crowns not come until I come. But the scepter and law giver from between His feet until Shiloh come, means the promise stands on record for the Hebrews in the end. (Now you see why I say that you must understand who the people of the book are.) These promises will never be done away with till the gathering of the people comes, and those who stand out in unbelief, then the crown and the scepter shall depart from them and the throne of David again be recognized. And the people who now come in BY FAITH they are the children, the seed of Abraham.

 BOOK 63---VOLUME 8---Joanna Southcott.

The 5th book of wonders, and an answer to the address of the Rev. James

Hearn, and the mockery of others.

Here then Joanna makes this announcement to the world that in her 65th year that she will now have a son, by the power of the Most High.

Of course this set off more persecution and talk and so forth. And then the testimony of the three women who have also had children, and who are now attending Joanna who is ill, and even upon the examination by two medical gentlemen as to the symptoms that Joanna has from the 17th of March until the 26th of May. Their decided opinion is that if this were a younger woman then she must be pregnant, of a living child.  Just think how this must have been ridiculed by the world. And then reports came that Joanna was worth a fortune. This she also explained as foolishness.  For it was only 1000 pounds that she was worth. But she made a will and in it she remembered these women who have lived with her and helped her in her work these past years.

Thus, the Spirit of truth says: Without the spirit of truth to guide them in the end, and without the son revealed in the end how will those who profess to believe My Gospel, how will they prove these things to be true.

I Peter 1:5,7,13----"Who are kept by the power of God thru Faith unto Salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, tho for a season, if need be ye are in heaviness thru temptations. That the trial of your Faith being more precious than gold that perisheth though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober and hope for the end. For the Grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

I Peter 4:12,13---"Beloved think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you. As tho some strange thing happened to you.  But rejoice in as much as ye are partakers of Christ's suffering. That when His Glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”

Now; at Harbury they created the effigy of Joanna through the village.  They shot at it 17 times, and placed it with the head hanging downward then burned it in a large fire saying that she should be burned. And then the next day they carried another effigy and with two children, and then repeated this the third day. The same kind of mockery had been carried on in other places. The 'spirit of truth' then said: this is a mockery of the Gospel. This was done to mock His first and second coming. This shows how the rage of the devil is still working in them, against the scriptures and against the spirit coming to Joanna to announce the events for the end of the age.  The Spirit then asks these doubters---- what was his purpose in coming into the world to make himself known unto mankind if He did not then come in power to fulfill His Gospel according to His words? And then he asks Joanna how his Gospel could have been fulfilled if these mocked had not done their work. For this calls attention to the scriptures of those who live in Faith.

II Timothy 3---"This shows also, that in the last days perilous times shall come, for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers. And now these have come forth perfectly as described by Paul. Truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, high minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, from such turn away.

Now; John 6:39----"And this he, the Father (spirit) which sent me, that of all that He (the spirit) hath given me, I should lose nothing, but should rise it up against at the last day."

Thus how can I fulfill those words taught of the LORD, as it is written by the Prophets, without raising up in the last day a likeness of the body I laid down for man?

Now the passing of Joanna is likened unto the birthing of a child.) Now she got sick in March the 17th and in May 26, she felt the life (of the spirit) in May and the harvest comes then the son ( spirit) as revealed.

Now; it is no reproach for a woman never to be married. For man does not understand my words. Thus Joanna was to write of this symbolic wedding of Israel and the Christ which brings forth the child (spirit) within the race.

Now; from the first book of wonders:---

"I caused my servants for to err

For ends they did not know

That every truth may be more clear

     To all mankind to show.

Thus, the light of the scriptures is now to break out. The hidden mysteries shall be as tho a window opened. And then I shall go on until I have fulfilled all, and the true dayling of scripture will now break upon you. For the birth of this child will remove the webs from your eyes as they perceive the meaning----THE END HAS COME.

    BOOK 65----VOLUME 8---Joanna Southcott

Announcing the birth of the Prince of Peace. "When the fullness of time was come, God sent his son, made of a woman, made under the law.” This is a mystery no man can quite explain. If it began with a woman then it must end with a woman, with her at last. Thus Joanna was ordered to put in print that she is the woman of Revelation 12. Therefore it is written by Isaiah-- “Rejoice thou barren that doest not bear.”

Had ye never stooped to eat the fruit at first you never should have stopped at the last. But now MY FLOCK, I’ll lead them by a child. Till all like lambs are brought into the fold. And now woman, by the Holy Ghost (spirit) shall come to full perfection, equal with the man.

Thus this symbolic wedding of Israel as the Bride and her maker bring the woman back to full perfection equal with the man. Christ is compared to the second Adam, thus there must also be a second Eve to bring the godhead and manhead to a perfect likeness.

Now; to better understand this symbolic wedding and birth of this child (spirit) we ask,--when was this woman seen travailing in birth? Before the savior was born or after? Remember Mary gave birth and no one was there but when Joseph and the midwife returned then the child was already being held in Mary's arms. But with JOANNA she is being persecuted and the devil is sparing her nothing as she tries to bring out this truth for the end of the age. Thus, it will also be for us to set the kingdom in place.

To convince mankind that He was the Messiah, he said at His second coming, when the fullness of time had come, He would send His son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem those under the law. ---This son (spirit) that came in the body the first time, and in spirit then the second time made of a woman, under the law was to redeem them that was under the law.

For to redeem from hell and sin

     The fullness now is come

Under the law you all shall know,

The woman (Israel) she must stand

A mother here she must appear,

     Of all the living race.

The people judged the man child to be Christ, but could not tell how to make it clear of this woman travailing in heaven, as tho waiting to be delivered. But this woman (Israel) was to bring forth the children for the kingdom. Thus as the woman bore Christ, into the world, so she shall bear the fruits of the spirit, and the strongest testimony of the Christ. No man would believe Christ's testimony of being the son of God, without believing the testimony of His earthly mother. And now no one will believe his testimony of his coming in the spirit to bring in this spiritual kingdom, before He has revealed himself to a woman as the Bride of His spirit. Thus, he comes now as the Bridegroom.

"I tell you all, now judge your call

And see the Tree of life."

(Thus the end comes with the mystery now revealed, of the “Tree of Life" pictured in the second chapter of Genesis, and in Revelation as the City with the 12 gates---the New Jerusalem. No one else can enter that city but those children the 'Seed's Seed, the children of the twelve tribes who come by Faith.)
