True and False Watchmen

Isaiah 21:11

Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the Night?

Ezekiel 3:17-19

Son of Man I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning for me: When I say unto the wicked you shall surely die: and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity: but his blood will I require at your hand. Yet , if you warn the wicked, and he does not trun from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul

This is a powerful scripture one to not take lightly but in the fear of the Lord we read this scripture:

Once you have warned the wicked then you have delivered your soul:

Then the Lord watches over his word to perform it.

Jer chapter 1:11 & 12

Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, "Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, "I see a branch of an almond tree.

12 Then Lord said to me, You have seen well, for I am ready to perform my word

Comment

Through out the years I have seen some with warnings that are from the Lord and some that are not from the Lord

I have seen both situations where the person with the warning then took it upon themselves to watch over the word they gave and try to perform it : How do they do this : These people take it on themselves then after giving a word to deliver their own soul they just keep on trying to force others to see it their way. Trying to watch over God's word and perform it themselves:

This is not a personal agenda we as christians need to get into.

This is overstepping your bounds and putting yourself in the job that God alone can do. To watch over his word and perform it.

I think all would agree to submit what God gives you and then step back and see what God will do . If you go past that point then you are meddling in the work of God not helping but putting yourself on dangerous ground.

The fear of the Lord is taught by God himself

The Lord teaches us in his fear as we work out our own salvations before the Lord in fear and trembling.

True Watchmen are the Oracles of God walking on earth

In Isaiah Chapter 38

is an example of this true watchman anointing

Isaiah told Hezekiah that he would surely die:

Hezekiah repented and the Lord added to him 15 years.

Now look did the man of God tell Hezekiah over and over this and make it is own personal agenda no. The man of God knew he spoke in obedience to the Lord . Then the Lord watched over his word and performed it.

The Lord added 15 years to this Kings life.

So If those that are called as a true watchmen for sure they know what to say and how to leave it in the hands of the Lord.

Those that say they have warnings of the Lord and do not are usually the ones that try to force their warnings from their own realm of reasoning on others.

This is an agenda that is not of the Lord .

Definition of a False Watchmen

Isaiah 56:10-11

His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark: sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

Yes they are greedy dogs which never have enough, and they are shepherds who cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his own gain, from his own territory

While the enemy is storming the gates to the city, you can hear today's watchmen calling out,

"All is well. All is well."

The true watchmen speaks the truth whether it is popular or not. Whether it is what people want to hear or not. A true watchman understand his or her role to stay awake, to be vigilant, to keep watch lest attacks come. We need true watchmen who watch for the sould of mankind and who cry our warning when the enemy approaches.
